Stunning views and an unforgettable experience

My stay was absolutely amazing, especially the breathtaking views from the rooftop bar that truly set the scene for a celebratory atmosphere. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring fresh pastries and a variety of choices catering to different tastes. The room was comfortable, with allergen-free bedding making for a restful night, and the artistic design of the hotel added a unique charm to the experience. While everything about my stay was enjoyable, the check-in process could be a bit quicker during busy times.

Good bed, but the room felt really cramped.

Cleanliness levels in the rooms really left something to be desired. it felt like the housekeeping team missed a couple of crucial spots during their rounds. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in either of the two rooms we had, which was frustrating. If you’re a light sleeper, avoid rooms near the elevator, as noise from both the elevator and outside disturbances can be quite bothersome. Plus, the unexpected window cleaning while trying to unwind was more than a little uncomfortable, feeling like a breach of privacy. The entrance area felt more like a bus station than welcoming lodging, and that long reception hallway just doesn’t cut it for a hotel atmosphere.

The hotel provides a remarkable atmosphere with extremely friendly staff who were attentive during my stay. The breakfast selection was impressive, featuring freshly baked croissants and a variety of organic juices, ensuring a great start to the day. Additionally, the facilities were in pristine condition, contributing to a relaxing environment that was conducive to conducting business effectively.

There was a mix-up with my room assignment upon check-in.

The corner room offered great views, but the inability to move the curtains was a letdown. Hearing noise from the hallway detracted from the stay. Consider enjoying a meal away from peak hours.

It was just a great fit for a weekend getaway in Gothenburg with fantastic value. The staff really engaged with us during breakfast, making it feel homely. Bring your own toiletries just in case, as they were limited.

Additionally, while the spa treatment was excellent, timing proved tricky due to the busier crowd. Overall, a great stay with minor hitches makes me eager to return.
